Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 8, 2026
TL;DR: We only collect what's needed to make SpriteADHD work. Your data is stored securely and never sold.
AI features use OpenAI, which processes your conversations according to their privacy policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Google User ID: Unique identifier for your account
- Email address: Your Google email
- Name: Your Google account name
- Profile picture: Your Google profile photo URL
We do NOT receive your Google password or access to other Google services.
1.2 Content You Create
SpriteADHD stores the following data you create:
- Projects: Names, notes, task lists
- Daily routines: Morning, midday, and evening tasks
- Chat conversations: Messages with AI (Brit)
- User profile: Work patterns, energy levels, preferences, personal revelations
- Appointments: Personal and business appointments you add
- Side tracks: Notes and ideas you capture
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage data: Features you use, buttons you click (analytics)
- Technical data: Browser type, device type, IP address (server logs)
- Session data: Login timestamps, session duration
1.4 Beta Program Data Collection
Beta Notice: During the beta period, we collect anonymized usage patterns (feature usage frequency, error rates, performance metrics) to improve the app. This data is non-personalized and does not include the content of your projects, notes, or conversations. You can opt out by contacting us.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide the Service: Save your projects, sync across devices
- AI Coaching: Send your conversations to OpenAI for processing
- Personalization: Tailor AI responses based on your profile and work patterns
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to fix bugs and add features
- Communication: Send important updates or service announcements
- Security: Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security threats
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Where Your Data is Stored
- Our Server (Primary): Your projects, profile, and settings are stored on our server (hosted at getyourproductonline.com) for cross-device access and data resilience
- Your Browser (Cache/Backup): localStorage stores a local copy for faster loading and offline backup
- Location: Server is located in Canada
3.2 Local Storage Details
We use browser localStorage for the following purposes:
- App state cache: Local backup of your projects and settings (synced with server)
- Auth session: Login state expires after 2 weeks of inactivity
- UI preferences: Notification timing, daily reset tracking, feature usage dates
- Rate limiting: Prevents excessive server requests
This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted except as part of normal app sync. Clearing browser data will clear localStorage but not your server-stored data.
3.3 Data Isolation
- Each user's data is stored in a separate file identified by Google User ID
- Users cannot access other users' data
- Server validates user IDs to prevent unauthorized access
3.4 Security Measures
- HTTPS: All data transmission is encrypted
- Authentication: Google OAuth 2.0 for secure login
- Input validation: Protection against injection attacks and malicious input
- Limited access: Only the service owner (Scott Covert) has server access
Note: No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Google Sign-In
We use Google OAuth for authentication. Google's use of your information is governed by their
Privacy Policy.
4.2 OpenAI (AI Services)
When you use AI features, your conversations are sent to OpenAI for processing. This includes:

- Task descriptions (when requesting AI feedback)
- Project context (notes, tasks) included in prompts
- Your user profile data (for personalization)
OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy
and Terms of Use.
Important: As of their current policy, OpenAI does not use data from API customers to train their models.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data is retained indefinitely while you use the service
- Inactive accounts: Data may be deleted after 2 years of inactivity
- Deleted accounts: Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Backups: Backup copies may be retained for up to 90 days
